                     SEVENTH DAY PARAYANAM

                                  WEDNESDAY

SHIRDI PEOPLE EXPERIENCES WITH SAINATHA: 

In the yr BC 1854,A 16 yr young boy who is a saint came to SHIRDI.All the people in village seeing his behaviour believed that he is a mad fakir but one day with his hand only he cured a paralysis disease of a person and made him healthy.A blind person heard about the incident and said " BABA  I want to see you"He touched him with his hands and person blindness was removed.He helped many people in the village in different ways,suddenly he disappeared from SHIRDI.Again in the year 1985 on the occasion of CHAND PATIL relatives marriage he came to SHIRDI along with relatives of CHAND PATIL,the introduction to CHAND PATIL is mentioned in previous post of first day parayanam.On that day MAHALSAPATI called him as "SAI" and everyone started calling him by that name.He settled in  SHIRDI.3 yrs ago he appeared as a saint but now he appeared as a fakir,hindus didn't accept him to stay in the village but, MAHALSAPATI convinced them so BABA decided to live in Masjid. Muslim put a condition that Hindus should not enter in to Masjid to worship him. MAHALSAPATI argued with them then Muslims started beating him,He didn't suffer but in the Masjid BABA shouted with pain. All of them went inside to look and they saw all the scars were on SAINATHA body but not on MAHALSAPATI.

To remove the enmity between Hindus and Muslims,he lit a DHUNI( a fire to perform yajna and worship in Hindu religion) in the Masjid and planted a Tulasi (sacred plant and hindus worship as goddess lakshmi).I look like fakir and live in Masjid but why there is a DHUNI? and a Tulasi plant? a tradition followed by Hindus.Slowly everyone understood BABA teachings and a friendly atmosphere created between Hindus and Muslims. BABA said "I visit both Hindu and Muslim houses and receive food from both and I m a omnipresent Sadguru don't have discrimination between Hindus and Muslims. Remember everyone.

సబ్ కా మాలిక ఏక్ హి హై రాం రహీమ్  ఏక్ హై ".

Earlier the person who was treated as mad fakir  only was worshipped by many of them. That BABA was worshipped as different avatars in 1918 yr. The saint who took food from different houses in the village and lived a normal life has horse,elephant, palanquin etc but he accepted all these for his devotees happiness only.He never cared about worldly pleasure or things.

SAINATHA PASSED AWAY ON VIJAYADASAMI

SAI BABA age was 80 yrs in the year 1918.He almost lived 64 yrs life in SHIRDI only.Though he lived in SHIRDI only his fame was spread all over the world. So many people not only from INDIA but from other countries also came and worshipped him.A normal village so called SHIRDI now became a pilgrimage centre which is famous and known to everyone across the world.

SAI NATHA has age of 80 years but he always had the smile on him and always look so lively.Though he was strained physically also he always looked lively.He ordered BAPU SAHEB,NANA SAHEB and other devotees to have lunch and come.When they went away, In the Masjid BABA sat in peace,offered 9 rs to LAKSHMIBAI and rested on BHAIJI lap and died. He was always saviour to his devotees in all ways,He showed the equality between Hindus and Muslims and created a friendly environment between them and spread Happiness and love to all the people around him.SAINATHA died on 15-10-1918 vijayadasami which is Tuesday at the time 2:30. Actually BABA informed everyone indirectly that he will die on vijayadasami two years ago but no one noticed and understood.Everyone understood the actions of SAINATHA about the incident after he died.

On every vijayadasami all the people in the village cross the border and return again and its a formality in SHIRDI.They call it as " సీమోల్లంఘన ".On that day also everyone as a formality crossed the border and returned,at that time suddenly SAINATHA became angry and removed his clothes and stood with anger, dhuni fire burned more with his clothes in it and BABA looked so bright in the light of dhuni fire and started shouting in anger.Everyone was scared but BHAGOJI SINDE with courage put clothes on SAINATHA and said " BABA why are you giving trouble on  సీమోల్లంఘన" BABA replied with his sataka " Today is my  సీమోల్లంఘన".In this way BABA told that he will die on vijayadasami.

SAI NATHA DARSHAN IN DEVOTEE DREAMS AFTER HIS DEATH

After BABA died,the next morning IE 16th Oct, SAINATHA gave darshan in his devotee DASAGUNA dream and said " Masjid was destroyed. Merchants are irritating me that s why I m leaving SHIRIDI.Come here and cover me with some flowers". He was eager to see BABA and a letter also came from SHIRDI at that time only. Immediately he reached SHIRDI and worshiped him before he was buried.He worshiped him by chanting his name and did ANNADANAM on BABA name. He placed flower garland on BABA.

On the same day IE 16th Oct SAINATHA gave darshan in his another devotee LAKSHMAN JOSHI dream who is an astrologer and relative of SHYAM and said " get up early, BAPU SAHEB thinks that I died that s why he will not come.You do Pooja and give Morning Harati to me." Immediately JOSHI performed pooja and gave Harati to SAINATHA. When BAPU SAHEB came to know this he felt sad for not attending Morning pooja and Harati and went in afternoon and worshiped him with Pooja and Harati. 

SAINATHA PREDICTED TATYA DEATH

Some days later after the incident of " సీమోల్లంఘన " , RAMACHANDRA PATIL got a severe disease and didn't cure with any medicine.So he lost hope on his life and was ready to die.On one day SAINATHA met PATIL and he asked " BABA tell me when will I die? and prayed him" BABA replied " don't worry, your disease will be cured and you will live but, I m worried about TATYA KOTE PATIL. He may die on vijayadasami in 1918 yr, Don't tell him" BABA words came true, RAMCHANDRA PATIL disease was cured but he was worried about TATYAKOTE PATIL as BABA words are always true and it happens in the same way.

 TATYA KOTE PATIL LIFE IS SAVED BY SAINATHA

As BABA told TATYA got a severe disease in 1918 yr and he was so weak that he was unable to visit Masjid to worship SAI NATHA. At the same time from sep 18 even BABA got severe fever and became weak. TATYA worshiped BABA by chanting his name,BABA chanted "SRI HARI".Vijayadasami came and everyone are worried about TATYA because BABA words will always become true.When TATYA lost hope and about to die, a miracle happened and TATYA became normal but SAINATHA died.Every one say that BABA sacrificed his life for TATYA. We can never predict and understand the actions of SAINATHA.

WORDS OF BABA BEFORE HIS DEATH

SAINATHA in the age of 80 yrs also looked so healthy and always has that divine brightness on his face.He was always independent.When he was weak, all are worried about him than BABA spoke" Nothing is permanent in this world. What we have today,we will not have tomorrow.You pray me with faith and devotion and I ll help you and save you from difficulties."

THE OMNIPRESENT-SAINATHA

When SAINATHA was about to die he offered 9 rs to LAKSHMI BHAI SINDE. She is rich,humble and respected woman in SHIRDI and she is best devotee of SAINATHA.She has a lot of experiences with SAINATHA among those one is mentioned below

One day SHRI SAINATHA said " LAKSHMI ! I m feeling hungry bring me something to eat" Immediately she went home cooked roti and curry and offered BABA to eat. BABA gave that food to a dog near him.LAKSHMI saw this felt bad and said " BABA! I cooked food for you  because you said you are hungry but, you didn't eat anything and  gave all the the food to a dog. Why did you do like this? Is it fair on part of you?." BABA smiled and replied " Why are you worried.If you fulfill the hunger of a dog means even my hunger is also fulfilled.It may be a dog or me but hunger and starving for food  is equal for everyone and remember one thing " LAKSHMI ! If you offer food to any living being with hunger means you are fulfilling my hunger.This is my advice" 

DEATH OF SAINATHA - COMPLETE STORY

SHRI SADDGURU SAINATHA is a great and pure saint, people call him as GOD but, he always says I m a person who helps LORD and  who converted a salt water well into a drinking water by scattering flowers in it, got severe fever in BC 1918 Sept 28th. He has fever for 3-4 days.He didn't go anywhere and rested in Masjid only.Due to fever and no proper food SAINATHA became so weak day by day.Everyone started worrying about BABA as he became weak but, BABA smile never faded on his face and said " why! nothing is permanent in this world. We change according to our age, we never look same. Whether I m alive or not I always listen your problems and bless you. Worship with faith and patience. ALL AHA MALI K"

Any one when they feel that they are going to die,People do paryanam or read devotional books like BHAGVAD GITA or RAMAYANA.They practice this because they can forget all the worldly pleasures at the last stage and put all heart and mind near LORD and worship him so that they get eternal bliss means final exemption from further birth.They are some persons like BHEESHMA put all his concentration on SHRI KRISHNA and died and DHRUTHARASHTRADULU while he was living in the forest he left his life  among the saints. We can know this incidents in mythological books.BABA is out of worldly pleasures so he has no purpose to practice the above custom but,for his devotees goodness he asked VAJE a devotee to do paryanam of " RAMA VIJAY" book for 14 days.He completed paryanam 3 times in 14 days and took rest. BABA started meditation and was involved in it 15th Oct came soon and it is vijayadasami.

On that day also afternoon Harati went well. BABA said " Why are you with fakir on the festival also.Go home and have lunch and come" and sent all the devotees to their houses.LAKSHMI BHAI,BHAGOJI,BAYAJI,LAKSHMAN BALA SHIMPI,NANASAHEB and SHYAM stayed in Masjid only even though BABA scolded them. Whether it is a saint or normal person, our lives will be gone but the care and affection towards our loved ones are permanent.SHYAM and NANASAHEB sat outside the Masjid and remaining stayed inside only.BABA slowly took 5 rs and 4 rs total 9 rs from his kafni and gave to LAKSHMI BHAI SINDE and said " I didn't like this place. Take me to the stone building which is built by BUTTI. I ll be happy over there." and laid on BAIJI lap, BAGOJI understood the situation and told NANASAHEB. He immediately came and pour some water in his mouth and SHYAM shouted DEVA! BABA nodded his head and his breath stopped at that time is 2 :30. SAINATHA died on vijayadasami.

All the devotees who went to their houses for lunch,while they were eating the news spread whole the village that BABA died.Some went unconscious and some cried with full sorrow in their hearts.The water in the well became salty again.We can hear "BABA" from everyone in a sad tone.Some started scolding "We are so many here to leave our lives than why did that YAMARAJU took BABA from us". If we cry and feel bad we can't get back BABA again.Birth and death cycle should continue for everyone who lived!We feel happy when any one born and feel sad when any one dies both are self deception.

SAINATHA - A PERSON WITH PURE HEART

SAINATHA has no interest towards worldly pleasures and we can tell this with following incident which happened in SHIRDI long ago. In Masjid there is a person name NANAVALLI. He is a person with a different attitude, he cares nobody and always scolds others with harsh words but, he is a devotee of BABA.One day BABA sat on his throne and was giving speech on devotion to and all are listening BABA words with concentration,at that time NANAVALLI came near BABA and said with anger tone " whenever I see, you sit in this throne and why should we sit on floor? You sit on floor and I ll sit on the throne" everybody were startled with the conversation and feared thinking what will BABA say.but,BABA smiled pleasantly and said " Why are you so angry for this? You sit here and he came down and continued the speech.NANAVALLI sat on the throne for few minutes and went near BABA and said " OK now you go and sit". and left the Masjid.In this world people will leave anything but does anyone ever leave their higher designation or throne of them?! but only BABA can do it and we can know the pure heart of BABA with this incident.

SAINATHA is very pure at heart and he has no arrogance or proud feeling, we can understand this by his words which are said to his devotees when they came to worship him " devotees! I m a salve among many slaves and I owe you. My life has a value because you gave your darshan to me.I feel happy if I do service to you" Normal people cannot speak the above words if they are in position of BABA any one will feel proud to be in such a position but BABA is very pure at heart. In the Dwapar Yuga KRISHNA said to his Gopikas " I owe you all for showing me so much devotion with faith.I will do Paada Seva and show gratitude". After that again BABA only spoke like this and we can say and some people believe SHRI SAINATHA is a avatar of SHRI KRISHNA,but SAINATHA never said that he is SHRI KRISHNA. He always said "I m helper to a Lord. All the world belongs to LORD only. సబ్ కా మాలిక్  ఏక్హి హై అల్లా మాలిక్". 

MIRACLE OF SAINATHA AFTER HIS DEATH

Though SAINATHA is not present physically He is always there with us. Just we have to pray him with faith and devotion.He will bless and save us always.Whoever worships him with devotion will be happy always and below incident is a best story that can be shared.

BAKATA NEVASKAR a devotee of SAINATHA once invited his relatives to his house on some occasion but more relatives came than he expected,his wife was worried whether food will be sufficient to everyone or not. Her mother in law said " Don't worry, sprinkle BABA vibuthi on all the food and cover them.Pray SAINATHA everything goes well". She did the same and food was sufficient to everyone and there was no shortage.

 SAINATHA WISH IS FULFILLED BY HIS DEVOTEES

In SHIRDI there is only one choultry called "SATEVADA" in those days,It is nearby a neem tree.All the devotees who visit from other places used to stay there and worship SAIBABA.  KAKASAHEB DIXIT decided to stay permanently in SHIRIDI and worship SAINATHA. A devotee SRIMAN BAPUSAHEB BUTI also lived in SHIRDI with his family,He is a rich person. Once he got a dream in which SAINATHA said " Build a temple along with choultry for me.I will bless everyone and remove their sorrows and problems". When he shared the dream with SHYAM he came to know that SHYAM also got the same dream,so he shared the idea with KAKASAHEB DIXIT and he agreed happily.Later they told the idea to SAINATHA. He agreed and said " construct a building with stones. later we will all stay there only.I will also live there only.When the construction was about to complete BUTI got a idea to put a SHRI KRISHNA IDOL , BABA accepted.While this work was going on BABA became sick .BUTI was worried because he build the temple and choultry but BABA died without coming into the building but,BABA will keep the promise so while he died his last words were "Take me to the temple which is build by BUTI. I m not comfortable here" So BUTI felt relived after he heard words of BABA.

After BABA died,in no time quarrel started between Hindus and Muslims regarding the burial of SHRI SAINATHA. Hindus argued that they should do samadhi in BUTI temple as it was said by BABA but Muslims argued that SAINATHA lived in Masjid so his samadhi should be in Masjid only.After a long discussion BABA wish was fulfilled as everyone are convinced and decided to do burial in the BUTI he temple.They decided to do burial in the place where they thought to put SHRIKRISHNA IDOL.Funeral  of BABA was completed sacredly by SHRI BALA SAHEB BATE and UPASANI BABA. Everyone are happy that BABA wish was fulfilled.

SHIRDI-A PILGRIMAGE FOR SAINATHA DEVOTEES

Ordinary men think that BABA died but if we think deeply BABA was in yoga samadhi. But, he was always there in devotees hearts.In first day parayanam there was a post regarding BABA did savasnam a yoga aasana for 3 days, also called yoga nidra and we all read the post.In the same way BABA now chose yoga nidra for some more years or as SHRI KRISHNA lived in NANDAVRAJAM for 12 yrs and later went to stay in MADHURA, In the same way BABA lived in SHIRDI for 60 yrs, later he went somewhere but he is present among us only and we should have pure faith.

The stone building built by BUTI became a temple in SHIRDI for SAINATHA now. When SAINATHA was alive all the people in SHIRDI did Pooja, Bajans and Aarti to him, in the same way they continued after his death also. Pooja is done sacredly to SAINATHA IDOL.Morning Aarti know as KAKADA AARATI ( starts at 5:00 am) and other AARATIS and UTSAVAM which were mentioned in previous posts were continued in the same manner. SHIRDI SAI SANSTHAN spread among the world and so many temples established across all over the world and all devotees are worshiping him. "SAI LEELA" a Monthly newspaper in which all the stories of him are published in it by SHIRDI SAI SANSTHAN. SAI blessings were always same before and after his death.we should worship him  with only faith and devotion and we should have patience. SHIRDI is a pilgrimage to all the devotees of SAINATHA. All our sorrows and sins will be removed if we visit SHIRDI and  with SAMADHI DARSHAN all our karma will be removed. DWARKAMAI entrance is happiest feeling for everyone and we can forget all our problems and worldly pleasures and have peace of mind.

SAINATHA ! You are holy Lord for all of us.Always stay with us and make us pure and calm.Bless all of us with your darshan. Help us and remove karma from our lives. We all of them read your Parayanam and get peace of mind. Help us in remembering your teachings and advice's. We will chant your name and we will forget the worldly pleasures among us.Give patience and discipline to worship you with devotion and faith.
